In the book “The Pig Who Saved the Day” author Thomas Crawford introduces Herman, a fun and delightful Pig who just arrived at the Millers Farm. Herman is excited to meet his new friends in the barn, but soon discovers that the other animals are not happy at all to meet him! After hearing mumbles and groans about being dirty and listening to all the things that he can’t do, Herman feels crushed and doesn’t want to be somewhere he isn’t wanted. Then everything changes as he sees a wolf enter their barn and wants to eat all the juicy animals. Without thinking of himself, Herman jumps in to Save The Day and… he does.
